Office Sun

Diana Keren Lee

sky nearly as blue as the screen
river’s ribbon printing
us from the ferry
and faxing us back
sun punching holes
through the bar
chart of trees
newly looseleaf
condos stapled together
to the clouds stacked white
and idle as blank sheets
air laying us off
from death every day
asking us back
with reduced benefit
multi-million green
office stamped on the pad
with all its bugs
to be shut down and continued
sky nearly as black as the screen
